In Nomine: "The Backseat"
Oct. 13th, 2004 01:35 pmJust an In Nomine drabble, inspired by this challange: http://mail.sjgames.com/pipermail/in-nomine-list/2004-October/010874.html
[Somewhere in New York]
"The back seat?"
"Yup."
"*Just* the back seat?"
"That's what the Boss said."
"And we're supposed to leave the rest of the car alone?"
"YeeeeEEEEEeeeessss. Do you want me to explain it to you again?"
"If I ask you to, are you going to include the bit that makes it all make
sense?"
"Look, I don't know why he wants it either. Just help me grab the thing and
we'll get out of here."
[Somewhere up in Heaven]
"Did they get it?"
"Yes, milord. It may take some time to disinfect the demonic connections
from the object, though. Wouldn't it have been easier to just destroy the
whole car?"
"And deny an innocent human of their mode of transportation? Now that we've
got the focus point, Andre's Tether is effectively disabled. And when we're
done with the seat, we can even return it to the original owner."
"Yes, milord."
