Guess I'm staying home tomorrow
Jun. 22nd, 2010 07:22 pmGeorgia had been coughing a bit the past couple of days, so we figured she had a summer cold. In the past hour though she's suddenly developed a very persistent cough and fever spiking up to 103.5. Treating her with children's ibuprofen, cool bath and snowball for fluids (to be followed up by pedialite)
Update (8:00pm): After 1 1/2 bowls of crushed ice and ibuprofen, her fever is down to a more acceptable 100 degrees and the cough is slowing down. Just have to keep an eye on her through the night until I can get her to the doctor tomorrow.
