A fellow I've been chatting with on FB has let me know there's a fan of For Your Safety producing his own short stories on SoFurry site that were inspired by mine. Haven't been able to find a direct link to them yet.

Oh, and there's at least one outright AU fanfic to be found on Furaffinity by written by a very popular Furry personality, which I have read (and it's good) but I'm not linking directly to because much of her artwork is very much NSFW.

I feel slightly weird about this...

Okay, I dare you to read through the story of Katie and the R2-KT Droid and not tear up a little. As much as I cheerfully despise Lucas and prequel trilogy, the fact that Lucasfilm has incorporated this little droid and the 501st Legion in the official canon is a pretty damned cool thing.
