Thirty Days of Drabbles - Day Seven

For drakemagi 's request of "Novalis surprising Dominic with a redemption candidate who is ASKING for Judgement."

"You are certain he understands?" Dominic inquired?

The Archangel of Flowers shrugged. "I told him. The fact that he survived Redemption is proof to God that he's free of his demonic ways. Heavens! The first thing he did afterward was shift to the Malakim Choir."

"I do not mean to cause strife, Lord Dominic," the Malakite said softly. "But... given my reputation… I thought it best that no ambiguity remain as to my nature."

"You, of all demons, were always subordinate to God," Dominic pointed out. He sighed. "Then again Satan, no one ever reads the Torah properly these days.”
