Excluding urban/modern fantasy, the German ones I can think of tended to use measures like paces, cubits, handspans... a day's march... I know the biggest German pen&paper RPG used kilometres and metres, but renamed them to mile and pace.

It's that olden-timesy feeling, y'know.
