Floor and Job
Oct. 24th, 2006 03:16 pmBecause I know you're all hanging on by your teeth to see how I'm doing. ;p Anyway, positive news on both fronts. Home Depot's Customer Compliants Dept got back to me with a deal. They'll pay for upgraded flooring, up to $20 per case more expensive, splitting the difference if whatever we choose costs more than that. I thought it was a fair deal, so I agreed to it.
On the job front, I interviewed with a temp agency today. The woman seemed pleased ot find out about my editing background, and was going to try and set me up with an interview for Thursday or Friday with a publishing company, with the pay nearly equal to what I was making before. Go me.
