Sometimes The GIMP will do it. And sometimes it won't. Another way would be to open it up in Adobe Reader (or in PostScript if you have it) and take a screenshot.
I actually have a program that can convert a pdf to a jpg. It's called paper port. If this is a one off then maybe I could do it for you. If it's not, then you want to look for porting software. If you have the right program it is easy. If you don't it isn't.
