Is there a simple way to convert a OOP or PDF document into a jpeg file?

Open it in a photoshop-esque program, and click on save as.

Other than that, I gots nothing!

Sometimes The GIMP will do it. And sometimes it won't. Another way would be to open it up in Adobe Reader (or in PostScript if you have it) and take a screenshot.
