Stupid Apple products
Feb. 3rd, 2004 06:21 amWould somebody please tell me why I can't seem to download Quicktime for my machine at home? I click on the download button and my computer keeps asking me if I want to open the damned thing up as a Word file.

Hmm, I wonder ...
Mrfl, mrfl - they've done away with the ftp site they used to have, and the only Windows Installer I could find is one of those nifty little 'download me, and then I'll find out what you need' things.
I believe something is screwed up with the .PHP association on your system - the handler should be Internet Explorer, and has apparently been set to Word. If you want to play with File Associations, I could give you some hints on what to look for.
