The drive in wasn't too bad this morning, with the usual slowdown approaching I-395 coming into Baltimore going quickly. But walking from the parking garage to my office, some guy who looked like he'd slept in his business suit tried to bite me. I got away with a couple of scratches, but the sonuvabitch ran off before I could call the cops. Not that Baltimore cops are all that reliable anyway. The 911 dispatcher said all their units were involved in something down by the warehouse district and no one could take my report!

While I'm here contemplating your imminent conversion into a card-carrying member of the Bush Adminstration (Office Of Dick Cheney), I should correct my rudeness of the past weeks and say thank you for the books -- they got here extremely fast, and are much appreciated (my groaning floors and bookcases might differe on this, but oh well.)
