Feel really sick and woozy. Tried to eat lunch, but it tasted like cardboard. Probably going to leave work soon, though the drive is still gonna suck. Looks like there's a parade of homeless people marching down the street, if you can call something that looks like a controlled drunken stumble "marching".
Meanwhile it seem like there's a bear loose in the warehouse district, with "saliva dripping down its rimless lips." Since when did NPR hire Lovecraft as their color commentator?

Apparently they're moving the National Guard in to surround the cylinder (it is a cylinder, or a wierdly shaped meteor, the news reports aren't clear.) Guess I'll have to cut down Cathedral Street to try and avoid the mess tonight.
Not to mention call the doctor tomorrow. My skin where the guy scratched me is turning green, though it doesn't hurt (actually I can't feel anything around the scratches now). Yech! Time for some antibiotics!

The drive in wasn't too bad this morning, with the usual slowdown approaching I-395 coming into Baltimore going quickly. But walking from the parking garage to my office, some guy who looked like he'd slept in his business suit tried to bite me. I got away with a couple of scratches, but the sonuvabitch ran off before I could call the cops. Not that Baltimore cops are all that reliable anyway. The 911 dispatcher said all their units were involved in something down by the warehouse district and no one could take my report!
