Summary: The brave and powerful kung fu warrior, Tai Lung, finally escapes from a most cruel captivity, where he was held for twenty years after his senile turtle master, aided by his spineless trainer, cheated him out of his rightful destiny of becoming the Dragon Warrior. Will he be able to fight past his master's minions, the Furious Five, to reclaim the birthright he trained his whole life for? Or will the fat and lazy panda they have acquired as a false "Dragon Warrior" prove his undoing?

Review: Hey, you saw the movie you saw, I saw the one I saw... Poor bastard.

I clearly need to see this movie (though not pay for it): I've seen more alternate-viewpoint posts about it than any other movie, ever.

It wouldn't be such a big issue if the conflict hadn't been outlined so well. Tai Lung overreacted to not being named the Dragon Warrior, but given his background (I won't go into detail for spoiler's sake) he was set up for it as badly as Mark was to try and duplicate Miles' feats as Admiral Naismith.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that in the inevitable KFP2, he's given a chance to make a Heel Face Turn, because he alllllllmost managed it towards the end of the story.
