Obama announces new NASA goals.

Should I be considered oh so mildly cynical that the stated date for this goal is "the 2030's" when he'll be safely out of office and most of the general public will have forgotten about it?

JFK set a precedent for NASA goals not being achieved in the president's lifetime, so now they put them farther away.

I dunno. What's the saying? "Fast, cheap, good...." I'd guess he's picked his two. (Remember, he's still pretty young; he won't be in office, but he'll probably still be alive to get a little kudos if it actually happens.) (:knocks wood:) (:knocks wood again:)
