The basic moral of the story is "we'll allow you to live with us if your freakishness is useful, subordinate your individuality to the herd, LOSER!"

I preferred the Olde English translation someone did a while ago after they agreed with my suggestion that in the Beowulf-era, Rudolph would have demanded the heads of those who tormented him before assisting the fat man, or at the least a hefty pay of weregild.

It might just be that cracked.com is hilarious, but reading that just made me want to watch the movie and laugh. No chance it falls into So Bad It's Good territory?

It's actually pretty good, discounting fifty-year old gender politics and the broken aesop. Though given how many times I've seen it, I just watch it for tradition's sake and snark quietly while the kids enjoy it.
