Dear California: Yes, it was only a 5.1. Let's see you deal with a snowstorm, huh?

Meanwhile, Tracy got up at 7am to get dressed and go to the local Weight Watchers so she could keep to her weigh in schedule. Happily despite being on vacation she still managed to lose 0.6 pounds, which also broke the cycle of up/down yoyoing she'd been experiencing. After she hit the treadmill at the fitness center we all headed out to Busch Gardens. While we got a Fast Pass for Tom it turned out he didn't need it. He was as good as gold waiting in line for Escape from Pompeii (very wet) and the Mach Tower (very high and fast), not to mention a few of the kiddie rides. Thursday we'll probably skip the water park and hit Busch Gardens again so he can go on the Loch Ness Monster.

As for the quake, it was mostly a non-event. Tracy was sitting at an outside table eating lunch and felt it shake. I was inside one of the eateries getting her another water and didn't notice anything except a bit of a rumble that I thought was one of the rides. A lot of the rides shut down for about an hour or so while they were checked for problems, but aside from that it was really a non-event.

Today we take it easy for a while and go to Colonial Williamsburg.
